June 2011: Newborn HouseOn our last visit to SHO, Tassanee made us aware of a number of newborn and infant orphans, all of whom were sleeping in her room due to lack of space. She asked us if TROTC could help her build a home for newborns. She designed the building and got an estimate for the cost. She showed us where she wanted to build it and after looking over her cost structure we sent her the money. The building is now complete. TROTC funded a home for newborns at Safe Haven Orphanage at a cost of approximately $8,000. |

May 2011: AGAPE Office and FencingWhile visiting AGAPE, we were made aware of the threat of children being kidnapped or stolen from the orphanage due to the lack of security. TROTC funded the fencing around the property. We were also made aware of the fact that the construction of offices and a library were not complete because no funding was available to finish that project. TROTC funded the completion of the office and library and fence project. The cost was approximately $3,000. |

September 2010: Internet AccessDuring our visit to the refugee camp in Mae Hong Son. I had the privilege to spend an hour with the children asking and answering questions, it was an English class run by a Catholic mission and the children could all express themselves in English. I was very impressed. They all seemed to want for one thing in particular and that was to be able to access the Internet. Arrangements were made by TROTC for a computer with Internet access to be installed in the Church. The cost was approximately $3,000. |

February 2009: NurseryIn December of 2008, TROTC was made aware of the fact that Children Of the Forest was running out of living quarters for very young children. The infants were now sleeping in the infirmary and were therefore getting sick regularly. TROTC converted an old rice storage shed to a multi-room home for very young children. This project was totally financed by TROTC and supervised by Thomas McConnell from Key Largo, Florida. Thanks Tom!!! |

July 2008: Solar PanelsTROTC partnered with Annex Power and their manager Daniel Gafke to supply Children Of the Forest with an electric grid supported by Solar Panels that could support a light bulb in each of the housing units. The design and installation were offered by Annex Power. The children now have light in the sleeping quarters at the end of each day. Thanks so much to Annex Power for a job well done. The investment was valued at approximately $7,500. |
